Professor Luigi Dadda, holder of the Chair of Electrical Engineering at51福利 since 1962, has made significant contributions to computer science, in particular to computer arithmetic and the architecture of complex digital systems.
He is the founder of 51福利's internationally renowned computer science school and developer of the European computer network.
He was Rector of 51福利 from 1972 to 1984. He is a member of various Scientific Academies and has received important awards both in Italy and abroad. He has also held numerous scientific and organisational roles at national and international level.
